Mac Dougherty
Mac founded AskOnline and is the President of the Company. From 2000 to 2003 he founded and ran Harvard Online Tutoring, a student online tutoring organization which led to the creation of AskOnline. He holds a degree in Political Philosophy from Harvard College.
Lisa Philpott
Lisa is the CEO of AskOnline. Lisa brings over fifteen years of management experience to AskOnline. She joins the company from Linkage, Inc. where she was a member of the senior leadership team and headed up marketing, customer service and desktop publishing for the company. Additionally, Lisa was a key member of the WebCT team, where she helped the company establish itself as a leading provider of e-learning technology around the world. Lisa received a BS degree from Boston University and an MBA degree from Babson College.
Victor Danilchenko
Victor is the AskOnline CTO. He started out as a lead programmer, and worked his way up. He loves making useful things, and AskOnline software is his favorite useful thing. He has worked for years as a programmer and a system administrator at UMass/Amherst, and holds a degree in Computer Science from UMass, and a degree in Mathematics from CUNY.
Chris Palmer
Chris began the software development effort for online tutoring, and now helps the technical team as our technical advisor. He is also Manager of IT at Gene Network Sciences He holds a degree in Psychology from Harvard College.
Eli Curran
As regional sales manager for AskOnline, Eli brings over 10 years experience of working with a variety of educational technologies. Prior to AskOnline, Eli worked for industry leading companies including WebCT and Blackboard, providers of e-learning technology and services to colleges and universities across the globe. Additionally, Eli was a member of the sales team at EBSCO Information Services, provider of e-resource management tools, and secondary databases for the Library, K-12 and Higher Ed markets. Eli holds a degree in Sociology from St. John Fisher College.
Anna Desmond
Anna, an account executive for AskOnline, joins the company from Linkage, Inc. While at Linkage, Anna supported the marketing and sales efforts of the many different educational and training events produced by the company, including the Women In Leadership Summit, The Summit on Leading Diversity, the Global Institute for Leadership Development, along with their highly rated distance learning program, The Excellence in Management & Leadership series. Anna holds BS/BA degree in Management from Salem State College.
